Have you read the What’s New document for SOLIDWORKS 2026 SP0? Wondering why it looks slimmer than in past years?
This is by design as enhancements are now delivered continuously throughout the release cycle (SP0 to SP5).
For example, in 2025 the document grew from 167 pages at SP0 to 330 pages by SP4.1, as 190 enhancements landed mid-cycle.
Expect the same pattern this year, with most improvements arriving in SP1 to SP3.
How would this shift to continuous improvement impact your upgrade strategies?
