Has anyone experienced thermal model results that do not properly display the model part boundaries with the thermal results?

I have a couple of assy models (~10 parts) that do this - others of similar size and complexity display the model boundaries just fine.  I've tried turning the boundary display on/off, re-defining the model with alternate plains etc, but, to no avail.  The behavior was the same for both SW2014 and SW2015.

On a separate issue - I've noticed repeated crashes in SW2015 when I attempt to display thermal results as a vector plot (this feature seemed fine in SW2014).
