We are having a new problem that files checked out in PDM are losing their Description field.  The trouble is, I don't really have a definite change that seems to have caused this.  I am on SW 2009 SP4.1 and PDMWE Client SP3.0.

Has anyone else come across this problem?  Does the "Custom property used as component description:" field in System Options, General Tab have anything to do with this?

The field itself is still in Custom Properties, it's just blank.
