I have the Student Edition. Often, when look up something in the help file, it describes features that are not in the student edition.

E.g. the Excel based BOM is not in the 2015 Student Edition for Academic year 2015-2016, though the help file describes how to use it.  Of course, the icon it is instructing us to use is not there.  I have come across several other examples over the past month.

Needless to say, it is very frustrating to be hunting for an icon that does not exist.  And I am not a novice at SolidWorks, having used it extensively some years ago. I am sure the novice student is VERY frustrated with it.

I also looked for a FAQ or some comparison between the student version and the professional one, but the only official statements that I can find say that the only difference is that the student edition is water marked.  Perhaps the people at SW that make the help files incorrectly believe that.

However, I am hoping that there really is some list somewhere that I can use, so that I don't start on these wild goose chases.  Does anyone know of one?
