Sometimes I need to show a terminal with more than 1 wire attached to in. For example in a line. I would consider that 2 connections used on the terminal.

So I created a terminal with connection point on North South East and West.

(I have used that terminal extensively on a large project)

Most of the time I am only connecting 1 wire off of it.

But the terminal strip editor seems to interpret that are 4 connections, regardless of whether they are hooked up or not.

So now when I assign a Phoenix 4 contact terminal part number to that terminal, it actually shows me 7 connection points

Augh.
