I just re-installed a 2013 version of SolidWorks on my computer & when I run it, I get a "syntax error" on commands that I know are correct (in particular when I type in equations in the "Equations, Global Variables, and Dimensions" dialog box).

Should I reinstall SW?  I am afraid to do so as I already activated the license.  In addition, I am not on any 'maintenance plan' so my "value added reseller" will not provide any assistance.  Most of the other features appear to work.
