Need some help or advice, recently installed 2016 and none of the Symbols work. I have copied across the symbols file from 2015 and placed it in the file below, still does not work

C:\ProgramData\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS 2016\lang\english

I have subsequently deleted 2015 in an effort to see it that will work, but still no use. All I am getting is the usual , and no symbol appears, the same with all other symbols. I created a drawing from scratch in 2016, s it is not a case of a previous version print being copied over

This seems to be a typical upgrade issue - any advice
