Currently at our office we have a conference room that we utilize for engineering meetings and we utilize remote desktop connection in the conference room to access our laptop workstations. We utilize SolidWorks and PDM for most of our applications during the remote desktop connection sessions in the conference room.
The Problem:
On the laptop workstation, everything is scaled correctly, INCLUDING SolidWorks and PDM. When we go to the conference room and connect using Windows Remote Desktop Connection Application, the scaling of SolidWorks and PDM is EXTREMELY small and unusable. Its as if the scaling is not updating, or is updating to the new resolution of the remote connection/conference room setup monitors. We recently switched our conference room PC to run the remote connection from a laptop running windows 10 and had no issues with this scaling or any other issues. The problem arrived when we switched to a windows 11 "Mini PC"
The Question:
How do i resolve this issue using the intended setup? Yes, i know there are MANY other ways to connect/accomplish this, but this is how we prefer to utilize our conference room displays and workstations. i have messed around with DPI settings and have not reached a solution.
