There is a new option in 2019 Beta in the SolidWorks CAM Options>Mill Features to allow holes to automatically extend to the stock. A super useful feature particularly when you require holes to be drilled prior to other operations such as to prevent the drill wandering on inclined faces. The option extends the hole geometry to the stock on both sides. It would be great to be able to independently set the option for the upper portion of the hole and the lower portion so that if I only need the upper portion extending, I don't have to manually adjust all of the lower features.
