Hi All,

I used to have a BOM template whereby one column had a concatenation of strings.

For example, I had one column called "Drawing Number" which was a combination of three strings, a "Project Designation", a "Item Number" and a "Configuration Designator",

For example:

If the Project Designation was ABC11, the Item number was 123456 and the configuration designator was b, the drawing number column would display ABC11-123456b.

This works fine using my existing BOM template, but I'm making some new templates in SWx2010 and the interface has changed, now only letting me select a single custom property per column. I've tried entering these as an equation which almost works, but I then get it with an "=" character up front.

I've also tried making multiple adjacent columns and then merging the title cell across the three columns... which works, but when you save it into a BOM Template, it doesn't work and reverts to the original column headers.

Is there any workaround for this?

It's really stumping me trying to get these new templates up and running.
