so i have been struggling to get this path2 swept helical cut for a cam follower using the equation driven curve.

The path1 swept cut from the solidworks linear pitch helix does not twist along the curve and seems to behave as expected.

the path2 equation generated helix has a nonlinear pitch. the swept cut twist along the path. at each end i have circle extrude cutes the would represent an cutter with its axis always normal and intersecting the axis of the cylinder. you can see that at the path2 swept cut is it not producing what cutter would that folllows this nonlinear helix. i have tried to control it using an identical guide curve that is offset but still no luck.

any thoughts?
