Hello All,
First of all, I've been through all the posts regarding this (BTW, SW programmers take notice this is obviously a problem with the software) with no success. One thing to note is that my seat is Standard so, I don't have Toolbox.
I can tell you the exact event that happened just before swbrowser issue popped up; I accidently tried to open a SW 2010 file with SW 2009. When I got the "file is a future version", I closed out and launched SW 2010 and that's when I got the swbrowser error. Now, this 2010 file was created by me and for the past week, I've had no problems with the project.
After searching the forum and then running UpdateBrowserData.exe and can run 2010 but now 2009 hole wizard doesn't work. So now I'm looking at having to reinstall SW 2009.
I've tried, "Tell it to look at the new location. Tools->Options, System Options tab, Hole Wizard/Toolbox" and it tells me the same thing, "...blaa, blaa,.... not the expected version (13.18)". So that doesn't work.
Does someone have a "tried and true" method for getting older versions of SW hole wizard working again after this swbrowser error pops up?
Thanks
