Hello,

I have a Dell Vostro 3560 which was unfortunatley purchased by my co-workers for use with SolidWorks. It has an ATI 7670M. This machine is pretty much unusable for anything but the simplest models. It has a good i7 processor. I figure that a workstation grade video card should do the trick to making this thing usable. Has anyone swapped in a FirePro or Quadro based mobile card into a laptop? Any I crazy to even be considering this? A variety of cards are available on ebay.com. If it were possible, what would you recommend?
