I'm using SW2026 and have run into a couple of what I consider to be issues.... I'm just going to start with this one, as the other big one might be my actual computer.
SolidWorks has changed the sheet navigation for drawings. They removed the arrows to the left of the sheet tabs. Instead of scrolling left or right in the tabs, they now have a hamburger button (at the right end) that pulls up a list of sheets that you can click (not scroll) through to get to where you want.
Pros: a. You can get to the sheet quickly, as long as you have named it (sheet tab) to where you can find it.
Cons: a. When you add a new sheet, it goes all the way to the end of your sheet tabs (as it always has)
1. If you need that new page to be page 5 out of 75, it is a true pain to get it there. You can only drag the sheet
along the bottom of your screen. Once you run out of room, you have to hit the hamburger button again and
pick a sheet that is in the direction that you are going and then drag the new sheet as far as you can.
Repeat... repeat... repeat.
b. When you press the hamburger button and it pulls up the list of sheets, you cannot scroll through them with your
mouse wheel. You have to find the arrow at the bottom/top and click on it to move one sheet at a time. If your
current sheet isn't one of the first 47 sheets, you will need to scroll to find it.
Hack: Keep a new sheet at the end or your drawing sheets. When you need to place a new sheet somewhere other than
the end, copy the new page tab... go to the page before or after where you want to add it and paste it. It will ask you
if you want to insert it before or after current tab, pick where you want it and keep rolling.
Suggested Solutions: Make it to where you can drag sheets up and down in the list from the hamburger button. -OR- when
you right click on a sheet tab, give the choice of adding sheet directly next to (before or after) the current tab.
