I've submitted this to my VAR but thought I'd try here also.

Brand new PC, Core 2 Duo E6750, 4GB RAM, FX570/7551 driver
Vista Ultimate x64
MS Office 2007
SW2009 Standard x64 from DVD
No add-ins
Kaspersky AV was running butsldim.exe was added to the Trusted section when found. (perSPR 397619 and S-018567)

SW opens fine but will crash whenFile > New (or the icon) is selected.

The usual clean re-install tried (AV disabled) without success.

Any thoughts as to the problem?
