This is a random question but I am trying to determine whether or not to renew my SW License/Service Contract for the upcoming year.  Due to the tough economy we've been trying to cut costs wherever we can and I'm thinking we might be able to save some money but not renewing this year.  I would plan on renewing it hopefully next year and if not, than the year after that.  Has anybody done this in the past?  Is there anything that I should be particularly cautious of or will be much more difficult since I will not have a license and access to upgrades etc?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.
