I work in the Auto Ind. With that being said All big three draw everything as surfaces. Is solid works not the best for mating surfaces? Does solid works not have the capability to do what most cad systems can do. We have only been using solid works about a year as the year comes close to the end we need to decide if we should update to another software cause we are not having much luck with solid works. yes it is cheaper then UG however I am Starting to feel it can do so much more than solid works, Any one have any input.
