Hi all!  I'm working with surfacing for the first time in Solidworks, and I'm having trouble knitting everything into a solid, the option is greyed out and I can only merge all the surfaces.  I tried saving the surfaces as a new part and exporting as a STEP to run import diagnostics to see if I can fill any holes, I'm only left with two gaps when I do this, but I can't seem to figure out why. 

(I also have to do this in a specific order or it entirely removes a surface...  So, I found if I heal all the gaps and then repair faces, I'm left with two or three gaps that I can't fill)

I'm using Solidworks Premium 2014 x64 edition.  If anyone at all knows how to get this to be a solid, please help.  I'm really struggling.  Any/all help is appreciated (just please don't tell me I need to restart, because I might cry).
