hello everyone.

what im trying to do is design a template to cut 6 pipes into a circular arrangement to make a manifold collector.

my idea is to make all the collector pipes from striaght pipe cut at and  inlet angle of 20 deg and with a 300deg cut out looking end on of the pipe.

i started off by using weldments to make a ASTM 1.5" schedule 40 pipe and made the necessary cuts then converting the outer surface of the pipe into a surface then deleted the body.

now i want to unwrap that surface to make a drawing which i can then print and cut out then wrap around the actual pipe so i know where to cut using the band saw.

hopefuly then end result will be 6 pipes that are close to identical and make a nice circluar outlet from teh collector.
