I have a complex surface body with gaps, which I am trying to get to a stage where I can make a solid. This was originally a solid, but I have deleted faces to get rid of certain features.

When I try to extend a surface edge, the extend previews, but when I commit the change the model does a re-build, then stays in the extend window as if I had not carried out the commit.

The edge is still selected, but there is no error message; it just hasn't done anything.

Any ideas?
