Is it possible to have Simulation quickly sum the applied forces and give me the resultant and the resultant moments. I've got a complex loading situation and it would be nice to quickly compare the total forces & moments that I've applied to my hand calculations to make sure
a) I haven't missed one or
b) messed up the nonuniform factors
I'd assumed that "List Free body forces" would give me what I need but after playing with the tool (even with very simple test cases) - I'm confused particularly when it comes to moments
I assumed that after applying a 100 N load @ 50mm offset from origin, somewhere I should see a 5Nm resultant moment - this does not appear to be the case.
What I'm I missing?
Notes: I'm using a solid mesh with 2009 SP4, compute free body forces is on.
