Hey Guys,

I am going to enroll in the industrial design program as a student and they require a laptop. I have been researching for a while and I want to know from your guys point of view what you recommend I should buy. My budget is around \$2000 and I am looking for a laptop that has reliablility and is able to perform well while solidworks renders my projects. My final breakdown is the classic mac vs pc. From what i see the dell m6600 is really good and powerful for solidworks. I also see people are recommending a macbook pro.

Can you guys tell me from your experience what has worked well for you?
