Hi

I got a strange error while applying linear pattern on a part. (Attached)

I made one cavity for a tray by using loft. I want to pattern the same cavity to 12X9 rows.

But I am not being able to do it.

I get a error message" this feature can only modify an existing body, cannot create new bodies"

I alredy tried to convert the part to igs so that it is a single body and not many features and then pattern it, but still get error.

P.S.-I am not a design expert and my company gives me such designing work occasionally. I am also fairly new to solidworks.

So any help will be greatly appreciated.
