Does anyone know if there is a reason why you cannot set 'standard lengths' using connectors (such as unions) when a pipe is designated as a tube?

I often use this function when running pipe & hoped to use it for the instrument lines (designated as tube rather than pipe) that are only supplied in 5m lengths.

See the attached screen shots - one showing the route properties when using tube, and the other for pipe.

I am using SW2011 SP3.0, but have also tried this in SW2010 SP5.0.
