I'm having some issues with some of our part files. Customers will typically send us stp files of bent tubes. We use another program for gathering bend information and to straighten the tube for cutting on our tube laser. The other program does output a stp file, but i believe it is splitting the surfaces in the output file. Our laser software does not like that at all. I have been able to get by, but need a better/faster process in Solidworks. Once processed in the other program and opened in Solidworks, various surfaces can be selected independently. I am only seeing one body in my tree on the left. Is there an easy way to stitch, fuse, or join this part back together? I have started playing with the knit, but no luck so far. Thank you!
