Hi,

I am currently trying to get the Split Lines feature to work in SolidWorks 2015.

I have a square (0.75" thick) with a hole (the coupon), two washers on either side, a socket button head cap screw and a nut on the other side.

Split lines is only accessible when I edit the coupon component. When I attempt to split the face of the coupon and the washer, SW tells me "Please select from the solid body of the component you are editing."

How do I successfully split the line of the various components?
