Anybody know what could cause this? Seems like a rather spectacular fail given the simplicity of the sketch...

Just for more info... The analytical wrap (which I was planning to use anyway) works just fine. The only reason I even saw this was the "Spline Surface" option happened to be active when I started the wrap command, and I noticed the wonky preview.
