Why is there such a large discrepancy in selection speed between the default selection mode and the **Constraints** option within the Move/Copy Bodies command?

As demonstrated in the video, selecting all bodies using the default setting takes nearly 25 seconds, whereas selection is nearly instantaneous when using the Constraints option.

Is this behavior attributable to an underlying software‑specific mechanism?
