Is there any way to turn off the equal spacing on magnetic balloons?

I think drawings look much nicer if balloon arrows all have similar angles. before balloons have similar spacing.

I find myself making several magnetic lines to group balloons then triing to line up the magnetic lines.

Because I use several magnetic lines the balloon spacing is not consistent anyhow.

They seemed like a good idea when I started using it but I find them frustrating and may go back to drawing a sketch line, positioning the balloon on the line, then delete the line.
