I am absolutely enraged to report this horrific glitch. I installed Solidworks 2013 Educational Version through my school's serial number. It did install correctly but could never start due to a "User not in INCLUDE list error". I decided to re-install it so uninstalled it. While uninstalling, I selected an advanced option of removing the installation files and registry entries as well.
To my dismay, when removing the Solidworks installation files, the uninstallation program also removed ALL OTHER software/files present in the root of the installation directory. I had asked Solidworks install program to place downloaded installation files in D:\Install\Solidworks 2013 Installation. The damn thing REMOVED D:\Install totally during uninstallation.
I have lost, several thousand dollars worth of valuable, legit, and now irreplacable software from Adobe, Microsoft, and such. I want to know if there is a way to get some help on this!
