Hello, I work in IT for a company and one of our users using Solidworks 2010 x64 Edition SP04 is experiencing the issue stated in the title of this post. The other designers can double click any .sldprt file and it will open up the file within the current Solidworks program already running (or open Solidworks if its the first file opened of course). I've checked the "Tools --> Options" settings and compared them to other machines, they all match. I'm led to believe that the file associations aren't properly set or something to this effect. After installing Solidworks 2010, just about any file normally associated with this program was set (not by IT or the user to my knowledge) by default to open with eDrawings 2010. The user then right clicked and did the "Open with" option and set Solidworks as the default program to open the .sldprt files. While the other designer computers clearly have a unique windows image for the .sldprt files our new user just has the default solidworks.exe shortcut images for his .sldprt files.

I'm wondering if someone can point me towards settings I can't find, or install options that may have caused this, etc...

Any help would be much appreciated.
