I am using solidworks 2012. I have one part file with 2 bodies. The parts I am modeling are threaded connections (2 extruded bodies that fit together with "teeth" like gears). I created a design table to add several (30) configurations for both bodies. The problem I am encountering is one body updates when I load the design table with the correct dimensions. The other part displays the default configuration dimensions for all the other configurations. It seems as if my design table is not reading the dimensions for the second part.
The second part shows errors in the outline sketch as well as the subsequent sketches. However, these errors are not present in any sketch for my default configuration.
I have tried the following:
- default configuration has fully defined sketches with no errors - this is the case
- delete all configurations and reload the design spreadsheet
- delete constraints - sketch looks like a 3 year old drew it
- check design sheet for spaces, misplaced decimals, etc. - none
Has anyone ever encountered ths before? Suggestions? I have done way too much work to start over. TIA
