Good day! 

my work recently updated to windows 11. ever since, the behaviour of the windows taskbar icon for solidworks has changed.

It used to show a preview of all open models whenever I clicked the icon. Now, it shows the preview when I hover, but minimizes the window if I click it. I have been clicking it for years, so I am now constantly accidentally minimizing the software, when I just want to swap to a different model.

I have checked the windows settings themselfs and tried all recommended settings for them that i found online. Those seem fine. Also, since other programs (like chrome, outlook or so) still have the same preview open when clicked, it seems to be a Solidworks specific issue.

Aditionally, one other coworker of mine has the same problem, while some others do not. 

Also, I actually have the same problem on windows 11 at home. 

At work i am on solidworks 2024, at home i use an up to date 2025 solidworks for makers.  

Have any of you had this problem and found a setting, or a way to change the behaviour? We all seem to be stumped.
