I've used Solidworks since 1995.  Now that I'm retired I bought a Mac and kept my Windows workstation for Solidworks maker.  Every dang time I want to use it to quickly design a widget for my van the dang thing wants to do an update which takes an hour.  I don't want 3D Experience for anything, dang it, I just want Solidworks with an icon and I need it to fire right up like it did on my jobs of 30 years.  (I'm retired and I don't want to learn another cad system).
