SOLIDWORKS for Makers – Is YouTube Ad Revenue Considered Commercial Use?

Hello everyone,

I am considering purchasing 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers to create free educational YouTube tutorials about SOLIDWORKS and 3D modeling.

The tutorials are freely accessible to everyone. No paid courses, consulting, engineering services, or sponsorships are involved.

However, the YouTube channel generates a small amount of advertising revenue, well below \\\$2,000 USD annually.

My question is:

Does earning a small amount of YouTube advertising revenue make this type of educational content creation a commercial use under the SOLIDWORKS for Makers license?

Would using SOLIDWORKS for Makers in this situation comply with the license terms?

I want to ensure that my use fully complies with the licensing conditions before purchasing.

I would appreciate clarification from an official Dassault Systèmes or SOLIDWORKS representative.

Thank you for your time and assistance.SOLIDWORKS
