The SolidWorks Environments (Chapter 2 pp. 22) functionality has been removed from the Beta 2 release. We greatly appreciate all your feedback and have concluded that the functionality was not solving the intended problem.

We will be reevaluating SolidWorks Environments for possible inclusion in a future major release.

We are aware that its customization tab is still available through the Customize menu. Please do not submit issues related to this, it will be removed in SolidWorks 2014 Beta 3.
