I have been exploring Solidworks electrical. I managed to ruin my SQL database and re-installed windows and SW electrical. It seems to be ok. I have now run into one problem. After running for the first time, there was a wizard for creating symbols and parts libraries, etc. There were some component I knew I didn't want to use and other I did, but I admit I clicked through the wizard too fast. Now in my symbols manager, there are no symbols. I un-archived a backup of symbols I had saved earlier, but now none of the symbols are associated with a category. In fact, there are no categories at all. This goes for symbols, 2d footprints, cables, etc. everything. My first hunch is that I missed something in the initial wizard. Is there any way to run that again? Perhaps this is a deeper issue?
