Solidworks Electrical cross references

Hi everyone,

I’m currently having difficulty understanding how to correctly set up cross-referencing between relays and contactors in SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2025, and I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.

I’ve been searching for a solution for quite some time but haven’t been able to find anything that clearly explains the process.

What I’m trying to achieve is:

  • At the relay: display all associated contacts along with their type (NC or NO).
    For example:
    NC 1248, 1512
(where the first two digits represent the page number and the second two represent the line number)
  • At the contact: display a reference back to the relay location in square brackets.
    For example:
    [0923]

Ideally, I’m looking for a step-by-step guide or clear instructions on how to configure this within the software.

Any guidance, tips, or resources would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have found out about how relays should be in the parent table and contacts in the child and etc but it's not really working.

The below pic is what I have accomplished so far but no idea how to get the relays to show the contacts
