Hi All,

I'm starting this conversation because i'm new at this . i'm starting to investigate the feasibility of exporting and importing parts and assemblies to/from solidworks to another design application via 3rd party module that will translate and manage these transactions .

My 1st goal is to learn how, and develop a system that can read and write data (maybe xml) and add assemblies and parts to solidworks.

Please share any knowledge you have with me, and reference me if you can to good API documentation, or any other thing that can help me move forward with this.
