We are having an issue on 2 of our workstations where windows update is replacing our video card driver. Solidworks is then slow and unusable until you install a different driver. We can't seem to figure out how to stop windows from changing the video card driver. I followed the instructions below from our supplier but it still happens.
On one of these machines solidworks will lock up when not being used. It sits there on this screen. If you force close it then when solidworks comes back it says to run RX again and it reports the video card driver is wrong again. We re run the video card install reboot and its fine again for several hours till the whole thing repeats. It is running 2016 SP 4. We can't go to 2017 till we get the license server upgraded so we are stuck on 2016 for now.
