SOLIDWORKS Connected R2025 Hotfix 4.12 – UI remains in English even after Chinese language pack installation

Hello,

I’m using 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Connected R2025 Hotfix 4.12 (SolidWorks for Makers license).

After installing the Simplified Chinese language pack and unchecking the “Use English language menus” option in System Options > General, the interface still remains entirely in English.

This issue persists even after confirming that the Chinese language folder exists under the installation path. It seems that the local language setting is being overridden or ignored by the platform environment.

  • Product: 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Connected (R2025 Hotfix 4.12)

  • License Type: SolidWorks for Makers

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (64-bit)

  • Region & Language: Windows display language = Chinese (Simplified)

  • Platform Language Preference: Chinese (Simplified) (also tested English → Chinese switch)

  • Installation Path: C:\\Program Files\\Dassault Systemes\\SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE\\lang\\

(folder chinese (simplified) exists alongside english)

Could someone from Dassault Systèmes or the community confirm if this is a known issue with R2025 Hotfix 4.12 (Connected version)?

If there is a workaround or specific patch available for language synchronization between local and platform environments, please advise.

Thank you in advance for your help!
