Hello
I'm about to order Solidworks for my personal use as a retirere.
If I understand correctly I will have to pay for support the first year, and this will include a right to download previous versjons down to SW2015 and up to SW2020 service pack 4 at the time. This is kind of a headache for me as I cant afford support for the following years, meaning I want be able to get the service pack 5 for the 2020 version.
So what will be the most stable version to go for(2015-2020), without loosing to much functionality, or should I just wait for the service pack 5 release of SW2019? To be clear, I don't want to be on the race for a new SW-version every year, just get a stable version that I can enjoy for many years.
As I'm going to be partly home and abroad I'm been looking at the Thinkpad P1 Gen 2 with a Thunderbolt dock. What spec would one choose for this?
