The SOLIDWORKS Training team has determined what courses will NOT be updated for SOLIDWORKS 2017. We considered software changes, requests from VARs, and other factors.

The following courses will NOT be updated for SOLIDWORKS 2017:

• Mold Design Using SOLIDWORKS
• Routing - Piping & Tubing
• SOLIDWORKS Motion
• SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium - Dynamics
• Weldments

Plastics, Routing - Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Inspection, and SOLIDWORKS MBD all return for SOLIDWORKS 2017 after not being updated for SOLIDWORKS 2016.

Note that we will remove the version information from ALL SOLIDWORKS 2017 books. This is true of Essentials, Drawings, the five courses that will otherwise not receive updates, and all courses. We are updating the cover, title page, and headers so they just read "SOLIDWORKS", not "SOLIDWORKS 2017".

Information about any changes to course lengths is not available at this time. The Training team is in the very early stages of the update process so that information will have to be shared at a later date.
