SolidWorks 2016 crashing with any action

We have some engineers here who are upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7, and using SolidWorks 2016.

Suddenly after the upgrade they can't do anything with SW16, i.e. open a file, create a new file, etc.

We've uninstalled and reinstalled the program completely three times.

We've tried changing the compatibility settings as noted online to Windows 8.

We've verified the video driver using the SW Rx program.

Nothing seems to work.

Please assist asap, we have people dead in the water after being told Windows 10 supported 2016.

The machine is a Dell Precision T7810, 32 GB RAM and an NVIDIA Quadro K5200 card.
