Hello all,
All the designers at my company has been experiencing very annoying/constant crashing involved with solidworks 2014 and 2015. Usually it is the "solidworks has stopped working" or just a constant freeze which may or may not come back after a long pause. It is difficult to replicate, and also appears to be very random. From what I've read, 2015 has been a less than ideal release, and the senior designers are confirming that things are getting worse year after year. We recently all got brand new high end computers computers (xeon E5-2650,SSD, quadro k5200, 32gb ram) and very sadly, we saw little to no improvement in performance, and still crash...crash...freeze...crash.
I had a thought today that I wanted to run by the community, Every computer was set up using the setting wizard, for our toolbars etc. These imported settings files were initially made on previous versions (2013 or earlier), could the issues be related to using the settings wizard? Or does anyone have any input in general? Thanks so much
