SolidWorks 2014 Premium

I imported several hundred surfaces into a Part model. After deleting some surfaces, I created a folder in the Feature Manager tree in order to place all these surfaces to keep for reference.

However, it will not let me select all the surfaces at once and drag them into the folder. If I try to do this, it gives me a message that says, "only the last item was moved" or some such.

I can only drag each item ONE AT A TIME in to the new folder.

This seems ridiculous crazy to me?

What am I missing?

There must be a means to move large amounts of items in and out of folders, as needed.
