I am desktop support technician at a college. We run varous engineering course at the college. I support the CAD users and lecturers.

We are running Solidworks 2012 in a Windows XP 32-bit enviroment. I am getting a increase in reported crashes from Solidworks. One instacnce even rebooted the pc. I was unable to get any error logs as we have a piece of software call Deep Freeze installed to stop students making changes to the C:\

we are moving to Win 7 in the summer and i have asked for the engineering teaching rooms to be 64 bit.

Are our crashes down to memory issues or OS issues?
