Hi,
I am running SolidWorks 2011 x64 on my Toshiba laptop, Windows 7 Professional x64.
Whenever I even briefly hover my mouse cursor over a sketch listed in the tree on the left of the screen, SW will cycle through all of the lines in that sketch and highlight them orange. Even for a tiny model (250 kB) with only a few (40) lines per sketch, this process takes several (4-5) seconds. The program is unresponsive during this time (I can move the mouse cursor but unable to execute clicks). This is extremely annoying, everytime I want to edit a sketch I have to wait 4-5 seconds. If I accidentaly hover over the wrong sketch before hovering over the right sketch then I have to wait 8-10 seconds, etc.
I imagine this is due to running SW off a laptop (no dedicated graphics). Is there a name for this feature and can it be turned off?
All my settings are on default. I tried lowering some of the settings in the options but this had zero effect.
Regards
