Hi everyone on the forum and thanks for helping in advance,

Last few days i've been trying to install the S(tudent)D(esign)K(it) of Solidworks 2010 (sp 2.1) on my win 7 64 bit running hp elitebook 8530w... to no avail. Everytime I want to start up Solidworks it generates an error/crash at the splash screen with the "problem signature":

I've been installing it with and without virusscanner/firewall/spyware and with the option "run as administrator", even downgraded my display driver to the ones supported by Solidworks... nothing seems to help?

I accompanied this post with the "Solidworks rx" log from, hope it helps finding the answer for everyone out there with the same problem.
