I´m about to start my studies and looking for a adequat deveice for that. I am not really an expert with these kind of things so please don`t be mad if my question is a stupid one.

We use solidworks and citavi, apart from basic Windows programms (office).

I prefere the microsoft surface pro 10 with a 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM. (I need a deveice where the keyboard is detachable and on which I can write with a pen.)
But most surface pros 10 have a snapdragon processor which, as I read, might not be that compatible with Windows programmes and especially not with solidworks. Is that correct ? 
Is an Intel Ultra 7 processor fully compatible? Or are there any further reasons why the surface pro 10 isn´t a good idea ?
